Friendship Village Chesterfield starts a multi-million dollar expansion by breaking ground Jan. 16 on 30 new independent living apartments and a heated underground parking garage.
Plans for the $15 million senior living addition show a range of apartment styles, sizes and floor plans.
The retirement community’s master plan, still in refinement, will bring the capacity at Friendship Village Chesterfield to more than 450 apartment homes and villas.
Other renovations and upgrades to the current community continue highlighted by the completion in September, 2012, of $1 million refurbishments to the newly renamed Village Care Center, the skilled nursing and assisted living component of Friendship Village Chesterfield.
“Ongoing updates keep our communities an excellent choice for today’s seniors. Many new features at Friendship Village Chesterfield include additional villas, a 250 seat theater, a bistro, and heated pool. The updated fitness center features personalized fitness plans,” Mike Heselbarth, corporate operations director for the two local Friendship Village communities, said.
