Logan College of Chiropractic Welcomes Largest New Student Class Since 2007

Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs welcomed 241 new students to its suburban St. Louis (Chesterfield) campus this September, an increase of 24.2 percent from September 2011.

According to Dr. Boyd A. Bradshaw, vice president for enrollment management, this was the largest increase of new students since the September 2007 trimester.  “This increase in new students is directly related to our renowned reputation for academic excellence and the ability to be a leader in chiropractic and health sciences education,” said Dr. Bradshaw.

This past summer, Logan implemented a 100 percent online Master of Science Degree in Nutrition and Human Performance in addition to the already established on-campus program, and also began offering additional undergraduate courses online in sciences, college algebra and business writing.  These new online educational options alone created an increase of 34 percent in new student enrollment, with the largest increase at 62 percent coming from the Master of Science Degree in Nutrition and Human Performance.

“It is exciting to see the Master of Science Degree in Nutrition and Human Performance and the undergraduate online course offerings take off so fast,” Dr. Bradshaw added.  “The future potential of enrollment success couldn’t be better.”
