Car Left Running Stolen From in Front of Chesterfield Gas Station
The vehicle belonged to a delivery driver who told police it had only been left unattended for a few minutes.
A delivery driver lost more than just his cargo earlier this month when a brazen thief stole his car after it been left running in front of a gas station in Chesterfield.
Police said the delivery driver was gone from his 2006 Grey Honda Civic for only a few minutes when he returned to find that the vehicle had vanished. It had been left with the engine on at the Mobil on the Run station at the intersection of Clayton and Baxter roads.
The incident occurred on Feb. 6 and on Thursday, Chesterfield Police said the vehicle still had not been recovered.

Unfortunately this never happens to the people who park in the fire lanes in front of Dierbergs and the dry cleaners instead of parking in a normal parking spot and walking an 5 extra yards like the rest of us.
