UPDATED: Chesterfield Police Seek Credit Card Fraud Suspect

The man is suspected of stealing a purse and using the victim's credit card and checks to pay for purchases at Toys R Us and a grocery store.

 

Chesterfield Police are seeking a man suspected of stealing a purse and using the victim's credit card and checks.

The man is wanted for theft, credit card fraud and forgery. The victim's purse was stolen at Trader Joe's from an employee area in the back of the store on Feb. 4. The suspect went to Toys R Us and purchased a Wii gaming system. Then, he went to the nearby Dierberg's and used one of the victim's checks to pay for his purchase as well as obtain cash back.

Anyone with information about the suspect should call the Chesterfield Police Detective Bureau at 636-537-3000.
