Fire Crews Respond to St. Luke's Car Fire

Crews were called to a car fire in the parking garage of St. Luke's Hospital Wednesday.

Monarch Fire Department and West County EMS and Fire Protection District crews responded to the call of a car fire at St. Luke's Hospital around 8:36 a.m.Β 

"Lot of smoke, very little fire," West County Deputy Chief Jeff Sadtler tells Patch.

Initial reports indicate the fire started in the car's engine.

The car was parked in the north parking garage when the fire broke out.

Crews were able to put out the fire within approximately 15 minutes of arriving on the scene, Sadtler said.

No one was injured.
