Parkway Central's Jake Bushman Named Patch Athlete of the Week

Bushman and the Parkway Central football team get back on the field Friday when they travel to district-rival Parkway West.

Congratulations to Jake Bushman, who was named this week's Patch Athlete of the Week

Bushman, a senior running back on the Parkway Central High School football team, turned up big in Parkway Central's 49-7 shalacking of Seckman by scoring three touchdowns. Bushman needed just six touches to amass 18 points — he had five rushes for 58 yards and two scores and one reception that went for a 55-yard touchdown.

Bushman narrowly eaked out Connor Harrison of De Smet. Bushman also received more votes than Parkway North's Roosevelt Abram and the entire Parkway South defensive squad.
