One Dead, Two Hospitalized in Car Crash On Olive Blvd. at Creve Coeur Mill

Chesterfield police reported.

One driver is dead and two others hospitalized after a three-car crash in Chesterfield at 11:11 a.m., police said Tuesday.

The crash was on Olive Boulevard at Creve Coeur Mill Road.

No names were released by late afternoon, pending notification of kin, police said.

Chesterfield police's Public Information Officer Steve Lewis said an eastbound vehicle on Olive Boulevard crossed the center line, clipped one car and smashed head-on into another.

A truck, SUV and sedan-like car were involved in the crash.

Lewis said no charges were filed at five hours after the crash. Police were still investigating causes.

Traffic at the site was shut down until about 3 p.m. when Chesterfield police reported it cleared.

Traffic at Highway 141 and Fee Fee Road was delayed.

Oh goodness, Kathy. Was the truck the vehicle that crossed the center line—from your vantage point?

I was coming down the hill the moment this happened. I didn't witness the impact but when I rolled up it was apparent it had just happened. Smoke from the airbags was still coming out of the cars and nobody was helping any of the occupants so I jumped out of my car. I was doing what I could until the first officer arrived on scene about 45-60 seconds after I got there. It was a horrific crash.
