Headaches and the Electric Light Bulb
The majority of headaches have a structural component.
Yes, you can take an aspirin and it will go away, and this is great for the occasional headache sufferer, but if you are one the many chronic headache sufferers, then your medication may be masking an underlying structural imbalance that is causing your headache. So, if the majority of headaches are structural, who do you see? The Chiropractor? The Physical Therapist? The Dentist?
The answer to that is ... it depends.
If you are receiving treatment from an osteopath, chiropractor or physical therapist and you are still have back pain, neck pain, headaches, or facial pain, you may be treating the wrong end. If your adjustments are not holding, you may have a descending imbalance from the bite that is driving these issues. I expounded on this in the blog article the Bite Bites Back.
I have an acquaintance Bill, that has a contract with his chiropractor for a yearly flat fee for all the adjustments that he needs. It would seem a good deal for both parties. Bill can go in for an adjustment once or twice a week and will feel better for a few days. His doctor wins because he always knows exactly where Bill is out of whack and can whack him back into shape in 5 to 10 minutes. He knows where Bill is out of whack because it is always the same area each time. The adjustments never hold more than a couple of days.
Imagine that you have a light bulb burned out in your house. You take out a new bulb and exchange it for the burnt one. Now imagine that every two days that same light bulb burns out. How many times are you going to change that burnt bulb before you decide to look at other potential issues? Will you go through five bulbs in ten days or 180 bulbs in a year before you start to look at the socket, the wiring, the amount of current, or the breaker box?
What is the definition of insanity? Something about doing the same thing over and over.
It is the same way with Bill. There are other issues that are not allowing his body to balance and stabilize. These issues could be body issues that are being overlooked by his complacent chiropractor, but the issues could also come from the bite.
Now, Bill is content with his arrangement, but if you are suffering from pain, are you?
A simple evaluation of the bite and the posture can determine what your primary driving imbalance is. Is it in your bite? Is it somewhere in your body?

So true, but your silvery metal fillings themselves may be causing the headaches. These fillings are half mercury. My chronic and increasingly debilitating migraines literally disappeared after having the fillings exchanged for white ones with special procedures to protect against further poisoning. Mercury is a neurotoxin and affects everything. Search mercury poisoning symptoms and see if your ailments are there. There's a urine test for mercury levels you can take to be sure that's the issue but need to do one after taking a "challenge" medicine that shakes loose the metal and some don't want to do that. You are correct that silver fillings are comprised of silver, mercury, tin and other metals creating what dentist refer to as amalgam. Mercury is indeed a neurotoxin and the term "Mad as a hatter" was the result of hatters going insane after years of using mercury in the process of making hats
Even though the American Dental Association continues to hold the position the Amalgam/Silver/Mercury fillings are safe and that the Mercury is bound up, I had my own amalgam fillings replaced with white composite fillings years ago.
Furthermore, I have not place an Amalgam filling in over twenty five years.
Many moons ago I had an employee of the EPA in my office. I asked him what would happen if i dumped amalgam into the sewer. He replied that he would have to cite me. I asked him, "Amalgam isn't safe in a sewer, so it only safe in your mouth?"
