More Great Photo Contest Highlights in Chesterfield

How do YOU see Chesterfield? Here's a new batch of photos that shows how your neighbors see the city — from those submitted in Chesterfield's photo contest.

As part of the city of Chesterfield's year-long 25th birthday celebration, officials have sponsored a photo contest inviting readers to share their photos to answer this simple question: How do you see Chesterfield?

With the cooperation of the city, Patch is sharing a daily selection of photos that residents have submitted up through the Sept. 20 deadline.

The submitted photos will be displayed in the food court at the Chesterfield Mall, near Subway. The pictures will be installed at the mall on Oct. 4 and visitors can vote throughout the month. Visitors to the mall can vote for their favorites and top vote-getters will be named as "Mayor’s Choice" award winners.

The city's Public Art Committee will select top winners in the categories of People, Nature/Environment & Community. Libbey Tucker, the city's economic development director, said the contest will end with five overall winners.

The winners will have their photos published in the city's December newsletter; they will also receive a prize basket.

But for now, we hope you enjoy our daily selection of Chesterfield beauty shots from your neighbors.
