Monarch Fire Open Houses

In observation of Fire Prevention Week, Monarch Fire Protection District will host open houses at each of their firehouses Sunday, October 9, 2011.  Please stop by any of the firehouses for a tour and tips on how you can keep your home and workplace safe from fire and other dangers.

Locations are: House #1 at 15700 Baxter Rd., House #2 at 18242 Wildhorse Creek Rd., House #3 at 1201 Fernview, House #4 at 14898 Olive Blvd. and House #5 at 155 Long Rd.

Fire Prevention Week is an annual event held the week of October 9 in remeberance of the great Chicago fire, one of the most notable fires in United States history, which burned from October 8 through October 10, 1871.
