Former Chesterfield Women Writes Memoir About Alzheimer's

Stefania Silvestri's father was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease when she was only 14 years old.

A former Chesterfield women has written a book about her family's struggles with Alzheimer's disease in a memoir entitled "Beside the Mountain: Finding Strength and Courage Through My Father's Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease."

Stefania Silvestri was only 14 when he father was diagnosed at the age of 48. She was recently in St. Louis to talk about the book and her experiences during a chat with St. Louis Public Radio's Don Marsh.Β
