Gas at stations around Chesterfield are nearing $4 per gallon, for unleaded gasoline. Premium grade has already passed that threshold.
The Shell/Circle K at the intersection of Chesterfield Parkway and Olive offered gas at $3.799 per gallon, unleaded, Tuesday afternoon. Premium gas was $4.119.
The premium gas was $0.42 cheaper last Wednesday, July 10, at the same Shell/Circle K.
The BP Gas, across from the Shell, at the Chesterfield Parkway and Olive intersection, offered the same price Tuesday afternoon, of $3.799 per gallon for regular gas, or $3.599 per gallon of unleaded gas with the purchase of a car wash.
