Help a Chesterfield Teen Win a $1,000 Scholarship

A senior at Parkway Central, Maura Madinger is a finalist in the "Frame My Future" scholarship contest and will attend the University of Missouri this fall.

A Chesterfield high school senior and soon-to-be Mizzou Tiger needs your help to win a $1,000 scholarship.

Maura Madinger attends Parkway Central High School and is a finalist in the “Frame My Future” scholarship contest sponsored by Church Hill Classics, a company that specializes in framing diplomas and other recognitions.

To enter, Madinger had to create an original image (see the photo accompanying this article) that represented what she wants to achieve in her personal and professional life after college.

Madinger, who is attending the University of Missouri this fall, blogged about her piece on Chesterfield Patch and wrote that she is planning to major in photojournalism and hopes to travel in her studies and career.

"As a photojournalism major, I plan to travel the world and bring as much color to it as possible," Madinger said in the brief essay accompanying her entry. "I hope to experience so much that it can hardly be documented."
