New Chesterfield Dog Park Lacks Enough Car Parking

One thousand-plus members and 25 parking spaces leads to parking on the new grass.

Chesterfield's new dog park in Eberwein Park is a huge hit with animal lovers, but is short on parking spaces.

With ($30 each per year) since September 1, there is no way 20 parking spaces is sufficient.

Additionally, the city apparently bans parking along the otherwise residential streets bounding the park on two sides.

The city recently followed up with tree planting around the border of the park, and area Girl Scouts planned a butterfly garden near the park driveway.
