On to the Live Shows: Caroline Glaser Knocks Out Her Opponent on "The Voice"

The Chesterfield teen and indie-folk singer used a performance of "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men to advance to the next round of the competition.

Coffee-house sensation Caroline Glaser delivered a stirring rendition of "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men that won the heart of coach Adam Levine on NBC's "The Voice" Monday night.

The Chesterfield teen was picked by Levin over her fellow teammate, Amy Whitcomb, who performed "House of the Rising Sun." Glaser now advances to the live rounds of the show where the TV audience will help determine who stays and who goes.

"You always impress me," Levine said following her performance. "You send me to this place. You have something magical in your voice."

For her own part, Glaser said she was grateful for the chance to continue and vowed that she would only get better.

"I can't wait to show them how I can improve and grow as an artist," she said.

The win follows an emotional round two weeks ago in which she was briefly eliminated from the competition. It also represents the continuation of a big journey for the 18-year-old Glaser, who had been doing the rounds at open mic nights and posting her own videos on YouTube prior to her appearance on the show.
