Concerts International Music Camp Seesion I

Music Around the World  7/9-7/13

Ages 8-11 Fee due 6/22

Campers will be exposed to many types of music that they may have never heard before.

Campers will recognize that different cultures have different types of music, and they should be celebrated.

Campers will learn songs and traditions of the countries introduced.

Salute to Broadway 6/25-6/29

Ages 8-11 Fee due 6/8

Campers will learn music and develop their own dances to songs from kid friendly musicals that have appeared on broad-way.

Campers will also design props through art projects to use during their performance.

Our Beautiful Planet 6/11-6/15

Ages 5-7  Fee due 6/8

Campers will learn about taking care and keeping our planet clean and beautiful through song, movement and art.

Talya Perry has worked as a Camp director and Program Director for Girls Scouts of Greater St. Louis.and also as a elementary music teacher. Talya  has received Arts for Life nominations for Best Actress in a Cameo role as Alice in  Overdue Theatre’s production of  The Secret Garden and  for Best Actress in a non-singing role of Alice in Alpha Players’ production of Big River. She also appeared in the Alpha Players’ production of Proposals as Clemma, Ofallon Theatre Works production of Nunsense as Sister Hubert, Stray Dog Theatre’s concert of My Fair Lady as Mrs. Enysford Hill and The Alpha Players’ The Sound of Music as Mother Abbess.  In summer 2005, Talya made her Muny debut in the ensemble of The Sound of Music where she appeared as part of the Trio of the Saengerbund of Herwegan. In summer of 2010 she appeared in the ensemble of Showboat at the Muny. Currently Talya is a vocal and piano instructor with Concerts International and the St. Louis Community College District.  She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Arkansas and M.M. degree from Webster University in Voice Performance
