The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce is holding a pair of events this week with a general membership meeting planned for tonight and a Business After Hours get together Thursday.
The general membership meeting starts for new members at 11 a.m. with a lunch at noon at the DoubleTree Hotel in Chesterfield. The guest speaker will be Kathleen (Katie) Steele Danner, Director of the Missouri Division of Tourism.
Travel is an $11 Billion Dollar industry in the Show Me State. Today, Missouri’s travel and tourism industry is operating in a new landscape - driven by sustained economic challenges, evolving demographics, emerging technology and shifts in consumer travel patterns. Katie sees this as an opportunity to strategically market Missouri in a way that is responsive, creative and forward-thinking. With the time and creativity invested by the Tourism Commission’s Strategic Planning Effort, Missouri’s travel and tourism industry is well positioned to ensure that the Show-Me State remains a “top of mind” destination in priority markets - generating revenues that will contribute to the vitality of Missouri.
Please bring in any non-perishable food items for our annual food drive. All donations will benefit Circle of Concern's food pantry.
