Chesterfield Chamber Hosting Pair of Events This Week

The General membership meeting is today and a happy hour is scheduled for Thursday.

The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce is holding a pair of events this week with a general membership meeting planned for tonight and a Business After Hours get together Thursday.

General Membership Meeting

The general membership meeting starts for new members at 11 a.m. with a lunch at noon at the DoubleTree Hotel in Chesterfield. The guest speaker will be Kathleen (Katie) Steele Danner, Director of the Missouri Division of Tourism.

Travel is an $11 Billion Dollar industry in the Show Me State. Today, Missouri’s travel and tourism industry is operating in a new landscape - driven by sustained economic challenges, evolving demographics, emerging technology and shifts in consumer travel patterns. Katie sees this as an opportunity to strategically market Missouri in a way that is responsive, creative and forward-thinking. With the time and creativity invested by the Tourism Commission’s Strategic Planning Effort, Missouri’s travel and tourism industry is well positioned to ensure that the Show-Me State remains a “top of mind” destination in priority markets - generating revenues that will contribute to the vitality of Missouri.

Please bring in any non-perishable food items for our annual food drive. All donations will benefit Circle of Concern's food pantry.

Drinks, food and networking are on the menu for the Nov. 15 Business After Hours at Red Robin Chesterfield from 5-7p.m. Cost is free for members and $15 non-members (Non-members are required to pre-pay online or by calling the Chamber office at 636-532-3399).
