Chesterfield Chamber Updating Its Brand With New Logo

The organization has also entered the mobile realm and launched a smart phone app.

The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce is launching a new look to complement its expansion into the mobile realm and provide the organization with its own unique branding.

The chamber recently unveiled the new logo and Executive Director Nora Amato said businesses can except to see it everywhere the group is active. She said a variety of factors influenced the decision to create it.

“In doing our new mobile app, we realized the [old logo] wasn’t very visual,” she said. “We needed our own identifier and we needed something very digital.”

To come up with the look, the chamber recruited the services of a retired graphic designer who had previously done branding for national businesses. It will soon be appearing on the exterior of the chamber’s office building as well.

Amato said the logo is part of a larger effort to signify that the chamber is “breaking out of the old way of doing things” and to help business owners be aware of everything it offers. Work has already began on the next step, a major overhauls of the chamber’s website.
