Chesterfield Patch Celebrates One Year Live
Still plenty to share about Chesterfield's fine residents, students and businesses.
It's been one year since Chesterfield.Patch.com went live on the web in Chesterfield.
Community Patch websites launched here in the Midwest in the 4th quarter of 2010, after starting up on the East Coast (where else?) in Feb. 2009, and spreading to the West Coast.
While we editors may still find ourselves spelling out the name Patch on occasion to someone, many of us Chesterfield residents now get the idea and use Patch.com not only for Chesterfield, but Patch websites across the country—places where we used to live, where family lives, where we might like to live, and websites in cities where big news happens to get the local angle.
