Job-Seekers Flock to DoubleTree for Outlet Mall Openings

St. Louis Premium Outlets will open Aug. 22 in Chesterfield Valley.

By early afternoon Friday, nearly a thousand job-seekers had already turned out to the St. Louis Premium Outlet Mall's job fair at the DoubleTree Hotel in Chesterfield.

Some were in business suits, briefcases and resumés in hand. Some were in shorts and flip-flops. A few had small children in tow.

But they all had the same goal: to be among the first to apply for jobs at the 90 stores that will be moving into the new outlet mall at the west end of Chesterfield Valley, just east of the Daniel Boone Bridge, between Olive Road and Chesterfield Airport Road.
