Ticket Fixers Is Actually a Law Firm

Plus, a big bus for rent.

What looks like a storefront ticket-fixing shop in , in Clarkson Square near the is a law firm specializing in "ticket" offenses.

A large black van-bus that sits in the parking lot nearest Clarkson Road with Traffic Law Center on the side, advertises the proximity of the offices.

TLC, as clients supposedly call it, deals with traffic tickets, personal injury, DWI or DUI, criminal cases, and DWI expungement—according to the website.

There's always someone at a desk in the shop to apparently walk offenders through the process. The group of attorneys promise to show up in court for you.

TLC suggests online solutions as well. The firm does occupy a storefront, next to the still-empty former drug store and a few doors down from the License Bureau, where Missourians can get a car registered, renew a drivers license, and get an eye test.

On the other hand, what is the big bus/van used for by TLC? It's not to pick up clients who lost their drivers' licenses. But here it is verbatim, from the company website:

Mission of the "Ticket 1 Express"

The "Ticket 1 Express" is a 16-passenger shuttle bus that is available for employees, clients, prospective clients, and "friends of the firm" for their use in attending local community events. Traffic Law Center use of the shuttle is intended to be non-profit, revenue neutral venture.

The mission of the "TICKET 1 Express" is to spread the word about the dangers of distracted driving.  Before each trip begins, passengers are asked to watch a short video that warns of the dangers of distracted driving, such as cell phone use and texting while driving.

Each trip must be a "charter", i.e. it must have a starting point, a specific destination, a specific passenger list, and a specific business purpose that furthers the business interests of the Traffic Law Center, its clients, vendors, or potential clients.

All trips must be pre-planned, and have a specific written itinerary.  Per local ordinance, the vehicle may not be used as a "vehicle for hire" like a taxi cab, airport shuttle, or to provide transportation for guests in or around taxicab stands or hotels.

A local TLC owner used it for a daughter's prom night transportation.
