As the the August openings for Chesterfield two outlet malls inches closer, the list of stores is slated for each locations grows larger.

The city of Chesterfield has been providing weekly updates online about tenants at the more than 160 combined storefronts for the future Taubman Prestige Outlets and St. Louis Premium Outlets. The list, available online, is based on the applications the city has received for interior finish work.

Patch first reported on this March 21 and since then, each of the two competing companies has added even more stores to their offerings, include some that will be pulling double-duty.

Taubman Prestige Outlets lists a larger roster of retailers at 48, but many of them are unnamed. Chesterfield Planning Department Director Aimee Nassif told Patch the company asked to provide the information for the permits under their location in lieu of using their tenant names.

"When the construction is complete, we will need business names provided to both us and St Louis County in order to release occupancy permits and business licenses so they will be submitting new forms at that time, which will include the tenant names then," Nassif said.
