First 'Ross' Opens Saturday In Chesterfield Commons

Debut in the St. Louis area includes gift cards give-aways.

It's rare for the St. Louis area. Ross Dress for Less opens Saturday in Chesterfield Commons with a debut store for the St. Louis area.

A Ross spokesperson said it's the largest discount apparel and home fashion chain in the nation, with 1,000 store total. A Fairview Heights, IL, store will open the same day.

Ross typically sells some of the same brand names carried in department and specialty stores, but priced at 20 to 60 percent less. They sell clothing, shoes and accessories for all ages, and some home accessories.

The Chesterfield grand opening Saturday will include Ross Stores donating $1,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles County, a spokesperson said.

The store will give also away $1,000 in Ross Dress for Less gift cards if customers enter a chance to win a $500 shopping spree or one of five $100 shopping sprees between Saturday (March 3) and Sunday (March 11.)

When: At 9:30 a.m., Sat., March 3, the new Ross Dress for Less store in Chesterfield will celebrate a grand opening. Regular stores hours below.

  • Mon–Sat, 9:30am-10pm
  • Sunday, 10am – 9:30pm
