Restaurant Review Round-Up: Charro Mexican Restaurant

There's no shortage of options for Mexican food in Chesterfield, so this week the Restaurant Review Round-Up is seeing how much sizzle the fajitas have at Charro Mexican Restaurant.

"This restaurant serves up authentic Mexican cuisine. Charro features the traditional fare expected in a Mexican restaurant, elevated to a new level. It has nacho dishes like the unique shrimp nachos, as well as burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, tacos and fajitas, all served with the familiar refried beans and Mexican rice."

Beth B. gave it 4/5 stars: "They have really great chips, salsa & guac, and their food *almost always* is above average. I've also had the Tilapia del Charro, which was actually VERY good (fish can be sketchy), on my last visit, and replaced the rice and beans with some mixed veggies.  I was very pleased to have a reasonably healthy meal at a Mexican place."

Joe K. gave it 3/5 stars: "Been here several times. Everything has been decent and portion is a good size which is a big thing for me. Food is nothing unique but it's made with the right amount of cheese, salt, etc. as opposed to some other places. What I did find unique though is that it is chinese/Hispanic family owned =)"

Heather R. gave it 5/5 stars: "I ordered the Enchiladas Supremas and Woah! It was fantastic! And the avocado was delicious as well. The chips and salsa were great too! I did go at a slow time, and our waiter was very nice and very attentive, so I'm not entirely sure if the service is still just as wonderful on the busy nights."

SH liked it: "We probably dine at least once a week at Charro and always when it is the $2 Margaritas special. The owner goes out of his way to make sure his Restaurant from the kitchen to the dinning room is running smoothly. It's a great place for your entire family and very reasonable as well."

JJ liked it: "Our first visit. The beef enchilada was very tasty, the chips and salsa, refried bens and rice just right. Like it, will be back."
