Restaurant Review Round-Up: Cheeburger Cheeburger

With the news that Wendy's is hoping to open this summer, it seemed an apt time for the Restaurant Review Round-Up to check out its competition in the chain burger scene in Chesterfield, starting with Cheeburger Cheeburger. 

Located in Chesterfield Mall, Cheeburger Cheeburger specializes in providing burgers with a staggering array of 34 topping choices, including classic favorites (?) like peanut butter. The decor resembles a retro 1950s soda shop with specialty shakes and malts also a part of the menu.

Erica C gave it 2/5 stars: "I don't give many places a mere two-star rating, but I'm making an exception for Cheeburger Cheeburger. Why? Well, the meat used to make the burgers is flavorless, and reminds me more of something I'd get at a fast food restaurant, than a at a place that specializes in hamburgers. The bun was lackluster, too, and to make matters worse, the service was slow."

The possible combinations of toppings here are endless!  Did you say you wanted peanut butter on your burger?  Well believe it nor not, that's an offered topping at Cheeburger Cheeburger!"

STLFoodie liked it: "My son and I ate lunch here yesterday and the burgers were fantastic. I had the patty melt on white instead of rye and it had lots of gooey swiss cheese and tons of sauteed onions. I highly recommend the zesty horseradish sauce to dip your onion rings in."
