Restaurant Review Round-Up: Krieger's Pub and Grill

With March Madness around the corner and baseball season not too far behind that, the Restaurant Review Round-Up is checking out the action at local sports bar Krieger's Pub and Grill. 

Billing itself as more upscale than your typical sports dive, Krieger's has an expanded offering of burgers that includes turkey and bison options. The entrees section also has some variety and features blackened tilapia, rib eye steak, chicken Siciliana and chimichangas.

Bryan M. gave it 4/5 stars: "Great lunch time deals - competitive with Chipotle, in terms of pricing.  The bottomless fries have an addictive seasoning. ... Per this waitress's recommendation, I went with a spicy chicken sandwich - reportedly her fav. Have to say it was also tasty. Chicken breast was succulent - not always a given for pub grub. I dig green peppers, and the seasoning on the chicken was not overly invasive but had a kick."

Beth B. gave it 2/5 stars: "The service was abysmal, and the food mediocre at best.  I had a bison burger, and though it was cooked to the right temperature, it wasn't especially flavorful.  The bun was hard - either stale or just grilled for too long.  My friend had a fried chicken salad, and though the chicken was pretty good, the lettuce was almost all colorless iceberg & somewhat wilted and brown."

Gwendolyn S. gave it 4/5 stars: "When I get a craving for a juicy burger this is where I love to go. They have updated the inside and did a really nice job sprucing it up. Its close to home and its not too crowded and the service is good too."

Dwane Lay didn't like it: "Came in on Sunday at noon, week 17. Every TV was on a replay of a college bowl game. Took almost 30 min to get NFL games on, and then only half the TVs. Burgers ordered medium all came out well done. Fries were seasoned with salt and SUGAR. When mentioned this to the server, she told us most people order without the seasoning, and we should remember that for next time. I assure you, that will not be necessary."

Dom liked it: "I had the Cajun Chicken Philly and it was the best sandwich I ever had... The staff is great and love that I that I can watch all the footbll games on Sunday's. Best game day specials I have seen around town!"
