Restaurant Review Round-Up: PM BBQ

See what St. Louis residents are saying about Chesterfield restaurants.

St. Louis city dwellers have long had easy access to some of the area's most famed BBQ joints, but Chesterfield now has some serious competition following the opening of PM BBQ in 2010.

Chesterfield Patch did a round-up of reviews to get a flavor of what people are saying about the Memphis-style smokehouse, which is located off of Long Road at 103 Chesterfield Town Centre. Add your opinion in the comments below or let us know if you're planning on checking it out.

Kyle W. gave it 5/5 stars and said: "Everyone has to try this place. Great BBQ! I recommend their Pulled Chicken Sandwich. The sauces are amazing & their sweet corn spoon bread is incredible. Not to mention, they have sweet potato french fries!"

Sir Dennis B. gavie it 5/5 stars and said: "Some of the best BBQ in the Valley.  Their brisket sandwich is great.  BBQ and cold beer....does it get any better.  Get there early - place fills up fast."

Steve O. gave it 4/5 stars and said: "Great bbq, chicken and beef brisket was cooked perfect. Sweet potato fries were awsome, spoon bread was great. Only down side was they only serve sandwiches. I like to try combo plates like pork and brisket but couldn't. If you can't make it to Pappy's and are in west co this is a great stop."

From Urban Spoon:

Melissa liked it and said: "It was worth the trip from O'Fallon to Chesterfield in the rain during rush hour. Ribs are good, pulled pork is good, brisket is good."

Darrin M. didn't like it and said: "It's better than Bandana's, but not nearly as good as Pappy's, The Plush Pig, or Super Smokers. The sides are sides, but the brisket is better than average. The ribs... ok, but I needed plenty of sauce to improve the flavor. Speaking of their sauces, they are very good, and were my favorite part of our meal. I wouldn't mind having a few bottles for home use."
