Restaurant Review Round-Up: Surf Dogs

This week's review round-up is grabbing a booth at Surf Dogs, located in Chesterfield Town Center off Long Road.

"Outside, a rainbow beach umbrella and two deck chairs look like they're waiting for Frankie and Annette. Inside, surfboarding memorabilia and pirate flags decorate the wall. Whether customers are fans of the Cards or the Cubs, there are beer specials and always the chance to become the Big Kahuna by downing all ten specialty hot dogs within a thirty-minute time limit."

Don M.: "Not what I expected at all! I thought it was going to be a fast food hot dog stand. This place is amazing. Kind of a Key West,  fun relaxing atmosphere with great food! Sam will take Excellent care of you. Try the Slaw Dog!"

Josh H.: "I have had this place a few times. Only through takeout, though. Their wings are great, that should be pointed out. Both the regular wings and the dryrub wings are just outstanding. I've had the Italian Beef Sandwich, and that was mediocre to be honest."

the grillman: "great hot dogs; I usually get the combo with a Chicago dog and a chili dog. The homemade chips are always good, too. Spouse likes the chicken sandwich. Great service, quick and friendly."

Melissa: "No one greeted us but had big smiles for just about everyone else. My Chicago Dog was boring and the chili Dog was ok. Hot fries were good and I liked that they had malt vinegar for them. We won't go back even if there is another Groupon."
