Schnucks: Here's What a 'Boutique' Grocery Looks Like

The triangle lot near the Chesterfield-Ballwin border holds a lot of store so far.

Here's a Wednesday photo of the Schnucks grocery store under construction on a former residential lot at the intersection of Clarkson and Kehrs Mill roads.

Officials called it a "boutique" style store that would cater to the neigborhood, and it was considered somewhat smaller than some of its sister stores around town.

It's located in Ballwin, on the borders of Chesterfield and Clarkson Valley.

The walls were going in by crane this week, and workers were tidying up the expanded intersection. A PNC bank and Marquette High School are on other corners at the intersection.

sw3Homes are across Kehrs Mill from the store, and homes are also right next door to Schnucks, in the "V"-shaped lot.
