Smashburger Builds Its Customer Base

Did someone say we didn't need more burger restaurants?

Chesterfield's that opened late last year, was nearly standing-room-only Wednesday at lunchtime. Seriously, one 2-seater table remained.

The newest burger eatery in Chesterfield, next to on Clarkson Road, seemed to have found its clientele. And some clientele said they were just finding the burger haven.

But the crowd doesn't mean the restaurant can't handle it—the line to order moved quickly, with another employee stepping up to a vacant register as needed.

Food was delivered to the tables within 7-8 minutes as promised, all hot and luscious looking. It tasted good too.

Everything was as clean as could be out front.

Selections include Angus burgers or chicken with options for sweet potoato fries, milkshakes, Fritz sodas, refillable fountain drinks, salads and three flavors of brewed tea out of two-foot high canisters—and certainly more.

It all looked and tasted good. Good service.

Another Smashburger is in St. Charles.
