Teen Store 'Five Below' Opened In Chesterfield Valley

Looked like a crowd Saturday, and not just teens.

The newly-opened youth store Five Below in Chesterfield Valley was busy Saturday, with sidewalk displays despite the rainy weather.

Here's how the company website describes Five Below:

Five Below is the leading retailer of trend-right, extreme-value merchandise to the teen and pre-teen market – all for $1 to $5.

Five Below's dynamic assortment of merchandise includes everything from sporting goods, games, fashion accessories and jewelry, to hobbies and collectibles, bath and body, candy and snacks, room décor and storage, stationery and school supplies, video game accessories, books, dvds, iPhone accessories, novelty and “gag,” and seasonal items. Five Below combines exceptional value with trend-right, quality merchandise in a vibrant shopping environment.

The Chesterfield Valley store first opened on Friday. It's located near , 54 TRH Boulevard, 63005.

Adults were walking away Saturday with full bags from the store—not just teens shopping apparently. Merchandise was stacked in the windows and the front door was propped open for business.

The stores do not accept returns on purchases, and merchandise varies as supply opportunities rise and fall with the market.

Two other "Five Below" stores were to open the same day Friday, in Ballwin/Manchester and Brentwood.

It's a privately-held company and with every item typically costing $5 and below—hence the name Five Below.

The logo is something than can be texted, and looks something like this: fiVeBELºW
