Who Buys a $4 Million Car? Sale Brokered by Chesterfield Dealer

A high-end luxury car dealership in the Valley was in on the sales of one of three Lamborghini Veneno vehicles.

The buyer: Kris Singh II of Fort Lauderdale. The broker: Ryan Dohogne of STL Motorsports in the Chesterfield Valley.

In between them: The sale of a $3.9 million Lamborghini Veneno, one of only three produced by the Italian car manufacturer.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch called it the "sale of a lifetime" for Dohogne, the sales manager at the luxury auto dealership off Highway 40 in western Chesterfield.

The car was built to commemorate Lamborghini's 50th anniversary, according to the St. Louis Business Journal, and it comes with a 750-horsepower V12 engine that can accelerate from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

The Post gives some details about the sale, which required Dohogne to represent Singh, who runs an investment firm, in Switzerland for the car's unveiling at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show. From there, he scrambled to get the paperwork finished and money wired quickly enough to secure one of the three cars.

"It's the biggest deal ever for us," Dohogne told the Business Journal. "The store and I have been involved in multiple Bugatti transactions with price tags north of $2 million, but the most expensive Lamborghini ever has also been the most complex."

The dealership has a picture of Dohogne and the client, Singh, on the dealership's Facebook page. The picture shows the pair at the auto show in Geneva and was shared on March 6.
