The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis Creates 8-foot-tall Gingerbread Arch for the Holidays

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis has welcomed in the holiday season with a distinctly St. Louis flavor – an 8 foot-tall gingerbread replica of the Gateway Arch.

The gingerbread Gateway Arch, which is built to scale, is located in the lobby of the Clayton luxury hotel and overlooks a gingerbread version of Santa Claus’ enchanted wintry North Pole village.

The Arch required meticulous planning plus 60 pounds of gingerbread, and the entire display took over 120 hours to create.
