Boone Bridge Lane Closures Postponed
The construction work has been pushed back a week due to expected rain.
have been postponed, the Missouri Department of Transportation announced in a press release.
Up to two lanes on the westbound Highway 40 bridge over the Missouri River were to close each night, beginning at 10 p.m. Lanes were to reopen by 5 a.m. the next morning. The closures were slated for Monday through Thursday.
But predicted rainfall has postponed the work, the press release said. Now lane closures are scheduled for May 31 through June 3, following the same schedule.
