Chesterfield Man Due In Court On Molestation Case Tuesday

Thomas Hill had probation from previous conviction.

A Chesterfield man arrested on child molestation charges April 16 is slated to go before a judge Tuesday in St. Louis County Circuit Court, to likely determine whether he violated probation of a 2003 conviction.

Thomas M. Hill, 56, was serving lifetime probation from a January 2003 conviction on first-degree statutory sodomy with a 10-year-old girl.

Hill was arrested anew April 16 on six counts of first-degree child molestation with a previous conviction. The latest charges relate to incidents dating from 2006 to 2010.

After this latest arrest, prosecutors told Chesterfield Patch they asked for prison time in Hill's 2003 conviction but that a judge decided otherwise.

Hill is shown owning a Chesterfield house in the 14900 block of Country Ridge Drive but has since shown a Richmond Heights address, according to the Missouri Sex Offender Registry, in the 1000 block Kuhs Street.

Hill's wife filed for divorce in January, according to court documents.

Court records show Hill's bond was set for $20,000 cash-only after the April 16 arrest, but it was unclear whether he made bail.

Hill has a 9am criminal setting Tuesday, May 1, in Judge Lawrence J. Permuter's courtroom, St. Louis County Circuit Court in Clayton, according to Casenet.com.
