Ex-Chesterfield Man Indicted, Arraigned On Child Molestation; Pre-Trial Status

Ex-resident had prior conviction on child molestation; lifetime probation.

Thomas M. Hill, a former Chesterfield resident and homeowner, has a pre-trial court date on August 9 in connection with charges of six counts of child molestation.

A July 12 pre-trial conference simply ended in a continuance to the later date.

Hill was indicted by a grand jury June 13, some two months after his arrest. The felony charges are in connection with two young girls over a 5-year period of time, police said.

Hill was arraigned June 20 on the charges, in St. Louis County Circuit Court.

He appears to have been jailed since his arrest April 16, with a $20,000 cash-only bail set.

In 2003,  He served no prison time and was subject to lifetime supervision, according to public records.

An ex-wife said Hill no longer lives in Chesterfield. Missouri State Highway Patrol sex offender registry shows a Richmond Heights address for Hill.

Since Hill's arraignment on the new charges, records indicate there have been motions for discovery—evidence—by attorneys in the case.
