Lanes on Daniel Boone Bridge to Close Overnight
The closures are slated for next week.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing lanes overnight on the Daniel Boone Bridge next week.
From May 23-26, up to two westbound lanes on the Highway 40 bridge over the Missouri River will close starting at 10 p.m., according to a MoDOT news release. Lanes will reopen by 5 a.m.
The closure is part of continued maintenance on the Daniel Boone Bridge. The closures were supposed to happen sooner, but were delayed due to cold temperatures. The closures will happen as long as nighttime temperatures remain about 60 degrees, according to the release.
