NWS Issues Hazardous Weather Outlook for St. Louis County

Wind gusts of up to 49 mph are possible throughout the day, but very little snow accumulation is expected.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory and hazardous weather outlook for much of the St. Louis metro area, including Chesterfield.Β 

While 3-5 inches of snow is being predicted in Northeast Missouri, the NWS said little-to-no accumulation is expceted for St. Louis County. However, the storm system moving through the Midwest today will still bring strong winds to the area, with gusts of up to 45 to 49 mph possible.Β 

It will also feel a lot like winter tonight, with a low of around 19. The wind will die down after midnight and the NWS is calling for a high of 39 tomorrow.Β
