Chesterfield Arts' latest gallery features St. Charles artist Adam Long. uses clay and natural materials to create his sculptures. The free reception is open to all. The gallery will be open until Jan. 8.

What: High school plays – "Steel Magnolias" and "The Three Musketeers"

When: Parkway West's "Steel Magnolias" begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Marquette's "The Three Musketeers" begins at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
Cost: Tickets for adults are the same price at both shows—$7 at the door

"Steel Magnolias" is a comedy-drama about a group of women in a small Louisiana Parish. —and perfected Southern accents to boot.

"The Three Musketeers" follows a young Gascon's travels to Paris and his adventures with three of the king's musketeers.

What: Handmade Art with Fusion, an artisan co-op

Fusion, the artisan co-op in Chesterfield mall, will be showcasing art created with recyclable or organic materials. Art on display and being demo-ed include creating corkboards, paper beads created from magazines, silver jewelry created from recycled silver, all-natural handmade soaps and more.

What: Create a Calendar workshop

When: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday
Cost: $25

Use your family photos and Achiver's kit to create a calendar for 2011 at this popular workshop. Kits comes with stickers and patterned papers for each month. You can take any leftovers from the kit home, too.
