Baxter Road is closed to enable the construction of a new box culvert running across Baxter Road, between Manor Creek and Islview roads.
The photo, taken on Baxter from Manor Creek looking toward Isleview, shows that the new box culvert is is now completely enclosed.

All that remains is backfill of the new culvert, restoration of the creek channel, tie-ins of various storm sewers, and paving the roadway to connect the currently completed north and south sections of Baxter Road.
It's estimated that Baxter Road will re-open the second week of September 2012.
