Residents Awarded for Beautiful Yards

The Beautification Awards will be given out three more times this summer.

Four standout Chesterfield residents were recently honored for their commitment to improving their yards and neighborhoods.

Lisa and Jerry Griffin and Myra and Richard Overfelt were the winners of the Ward 2 and Ward 3 Beautification Awards. The awards are presented by the Chesterfield Beautification Committee.

According to a news release from the city, the awards are given to recognize "the hard work and commitment that these Chesterfield residents give to beautifying their yard and neighborhood."

The Griffins live on Meadowbrook Way in Ward 3. The Overfelts live on Beaver Creek in Ward 2.

Beautification awards will be presented throughout the summer. Awards to residents in Wards 1 and 4 will be presented in June and August. A second round of awards for residents in Wards 2 and 3 will be presented in July.

The city is currently seeking nominations for Beautification Awards. Nominated homes should feature outstanding design and maintenance and be a show of seasonal color and texture. To nominate a Chesterfield resident, fill out the nomination form online or at .Β
