Tornado Watch Issued for St. Louis County

The watch includes the Chesterfield area and will last until 10 p.m. with a chance for spotty, but intense storms this evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the St. Louis area, including Chesterfield.

The watch will remain in effect until 10 p.m., according to a report from Fox2. There is a chance for a few spotty, but very intense storms late in the day into the evening. These storms may produce large hail, gusty winds and quick tornadoes.

A spot storm threat will continue into Wednesday night before a higher risk of strong to severe storms arrives during the day Thursday.
