Where to Celebrate New Year's Eve in Chesterfield

Several local bars and restaurants are hosting New Year’s Eve celebrations, and you’re invited.

Here are six places to ring in the New Year in the Chesterfield area.

Balaban's will have a five-course dinner complete with wine pairings on New Year's Eve. The menu features Oysters Rockefeller, poached salmon and an over-roasted tenderloin. The Brunswick Zone bowling alley will host a family-friendly night of bowling, food, door prizes, music, party favors and even champagne toasts. The festivities start 3 p.m. and will continue well into the New Year. Package specials are $139.99 per lane for up to six people. For guests that don’t want to bowl but want to participate in everything else, the cost is $12.99 per person. Each package takes place during “Cosmic Bowling” which means black lights, music, and special lights. 

Villa Farotto will host an evening of dining, drinking and dancing to the sounds of the Encore Band. The disco-themed music will start at 8:30 p.m. Hungry revelers can take advantage of a four-course prix fixe menu. There will also be complimentary champagne and party favors.

The Hangar Bar and Grill will also be featuring live music and champagne toasts at midnight. Tunes will start at 9 p.m. and will be provided by Rogers and Nienhaus. 

Meanwhile, The Brick House Tavern and Tap in Chesterfield will have your day-after recovery covered. The restaurant is hosting a New Year's Day brunch complete with special menu items, plenty of TVs for watching college football bowl games and "hair of the dog" cocktails. 

For those looking to escape the traditional bar crowd, consider an evening with the the St. Louis Symphony. What will be playing at its annual New Year's Eve concert? You'll have to go to find out. The program for the evening is always a secret, but conductor David Robertson promises a memorable evening at Powell Hall. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 to $120.
