Digital Photography Class

Students will learn about Digital Photography: principles, composition, lighting, software and workflow. You do not need a digital SLR camera for this course, but you should have a digital camera (at least a good point and shoot).  A computer is helpful for image processing, but alternative processing tools and methods will also be discussed. We will briefly discuss copyright, the use of model releases, watermarking, and various techniques to get photos to market. This class will include shooting (at the St. Louis Artists' Guild and Oak Knoll Park and there may be some homework shooting assigned as well) You will present your best photos to the class and discussing what you saw, and how you processed the images. Plan on bringing your camera to each class. This class is for those who own a camera and simply want to learn more about the fine art of Digital Photography. It is intended to be a fun learning experience for all! This class is for students 18+.

Class starts on February 7, 2013 and ends 8 weeks later on March 28th.
