President, Dred Scott Heritage Foundation
Lynne M. Jackson, a great-great granddaughter, is one of several descendants of Dred and Harriet Scott. She is the olders of four siblings born to John and Marsulite Madison. Her father was the family spokesperson regarding their famous ancestors for over 50 years.
With her mother and father, she founded the Dred Scott Heritage Foundation. She has taken the mantle as family historian, spokesperson and has engaged in many opportunities across the country since 2007 to tell this famous story and inspire people of all ages, especially women to learn more of our complete American history.
