Hello and thanks for clicking on my blog! This is my very first entry, and I would just like to introduce myself and my purpose for starting this venture on Patch!
My name is Lauren and I'm a local gal who likes to be crafty, green and creative. I don't like to spend a lot of dough (because, really who has any?) but, unfortunately, I kinda like to shop. Luckily, however, I am really drawn to unique and vintage items, so thrift shopping is a perfect venture for me. Additionally, walking around a giant room of other people's discarded junk is good clean entertainment.
So, as a sort of example of my credentials, I'm including a few examples of clothing items that I've found second hand around town. My plan for this blog is to visit some local thrift stores and select some top items and feature them along with a discussion. Some of these things I'll buy, but I'll do my best not to snatch up all the goodies and let you guys have a shot at them!
