Get in Free for Father's Day at the Kemp Auto Museum

The museum is waiving the price of admission for dads who want to cruise the collection of cars on Sunday.

Kemp Auto Museum is throwing open their doors for fathers and grandfathers Sunday in celebration of Fathers Day. 

Admission will be free for any dad accompanied by a child while admission will be reduced for other family members to $6 for adults and seniors and $3 for Juniors. The museum is located at 16955 Chesterfield Airport Rd. in Chesterfield Valley. 

The Kemp collection includes rare and vintage European automobiles from the turn of the century to modern day and is home to one of North America's best private collections of Mercedes Benz. The museum also regular features special, rotating exhibits. 

According to a post on the organization's website, special guided tours will be arranged for the occasion, along with complimentary refreshments and take home crafts for children.

Hungry car enthusiasts can also grab some grub from a Fazoli's food truck, which will be handing out free bread sticks on the museum plaza from 1-2 p.m.

Here's the day's tour schedule:

  • Gallery tours run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and provide highlights on the museum's history, permanent and visiting collections, and ongoing restorative projects. All tours meet in the Patent Wagon Foyer and last approximately a half hour.
  • 10:30 am Turning point of 1930's car technology and design 
  • 11:30 am Legacy of the SL Class 
  • 12:30 pm The purpose and evolution of Micro-cars 
  • 1:30 pm Turning point of 1930's car technology and design 
  • 2:00 pm Legacy of the SL Class 
  • 2:30 pm The purpose and evolution of Micro-cars
