Chesterfield Driver Involved in Fatal Pedestrian Accident
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that a 14-year-old teenager died after being struck by a car in St. Francois County Friday night.
A fatal pedestrian accident in Farmington Friday night involved a Chesterfield driver.
Kaitlyn R. Prater, 14, was trying to cross Route 32 near Maple Valley Drive when a passing car driven by Prokopieva M. Gulnara, 44, of Chesterfield, struck her, according to a report from Fox 2.
The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Prater was taken to Parkland Health Center where she was pronounced dead.

The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, but no charges have been filed.
