Chesterfield Woman Seriously Injured in 5-Car Crash
Mary M. Allison, 68, of Chesterfield, was seriously injured Friday morning in a crash on Interstate 70.
A Chesterfield woman was seriously injured in a five-car crash in Warren County on Friday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Justin A. Green, 28, of Wentzville lost control of his car while heading eastbound on Interstate 70 at the 201.8 mile marker at 8 a.m. Green's car slid through the media and onto westbound I-70.
Green's 2004 Cadillac CTS struck the 2011 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Chesterfield resident Joseph E. Allison, 74. Green's car kept sliding and hit a third vehicle, a 2013 Nissan Altima driven by Harold J. Meyer, 55, of St. Peters.
A fourth car, a 2011 Toyota Avalon driven by William M. Pugh, 69, of Evansville, Ind., was struck by debris.
Green's car continued to slide and struck the front of another car, a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by John H. Benne, 64, of Ballwin.
Green and his passenger, 2-year-old Brycen Green, both taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur. Justin Green was listed as having minor injuries while Brycen Green was listed as having sustained moderate injuries.
Mary M. Allison, 68, of Chesterfield, and a passenger in the Town and Country, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur by Arch Ambulance with serious injuries.
Patricia A. Benne, 63, of Ballwin, was a passenger in the Chevrolet Trailblazer. She was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital West with minor injuries.
