Cops Nab Sex Offender Who Lived in Chesterfield Without Registering

Report: KMOV reports that the name had been living "off the grid" for years, hiding from authorities without registering.

Joel Weinman, who authorities say was living in hiding from them as a convicted sex offender who was supposed to register with the state, was found in his Chesterfield home and put back behind bars, according to a media report.

KMOV-Ch. 4 reports that the man is back in jail after leading police twice on high-speed chases. The station reports that Weinman is being held on a $100,000 cash bond. Police got a tip that he had been living in a Chesterfield home, hiding from authorities for five years under names such as Joey Jay and using a fake driver's license.
